What? Point was I see no improvement they are already in current build of cap lab. Unless they are talking about difference from cap 2 and cap lab.

Look closely you will see the visual improvement. Put your current game in Windows mode and size the screen shots next to it. Its very subtle but its actually more visually appealing.

I'm not sure what the sales are like with this game and who plays it but I think the more hardcoreish fans don't care about this kind of jazz.

I understand making it more visually appealing makes it more appealing in general for a broader audience.

Personally I don't see much of a point in working on graphics unless it's a major overhaul... Capitalism 3.

We want more products, more industries, subsidiary control and so forth.

I know some of that is being worked on too.

A lot of consumers judge a game based on its graphics rather than its mechanics, there is value in investing time polishing the UI. This one minor visual improvement is indeed small and insignificant on its own, but once you have 3-4 different screen with more to come getting a visual make over it will have a big impact on perception.
