Version 3.0.09:

1) Fixed the bugs reported in the following posts:
http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... =37&t=2824
http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... =37&t=2825

2) New function for transferring firms to other companies under your control.
To do so, go to the firm detail window, and click on the original Relocate/Demolish icon at the top-right of the firm detail window, there will be a new option for transferring the firm. (see the screenshot below)

Version 3.0.08:

1) A new function for setting up a new subsidiary company from scratch.
For details, please see: http://www.capitalismlab.com/setup-a-ne ... mpany.html

2) The ability to manage product customization in the manufacturing units
Please see http://www.capitalismlab.com/product-customization.html
The details can be found in the section "Choosing a Specific Tech Level for Your Manufacturing Unit".

3) Fixed the bug reported in http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... =37&t=2806

4) The Tech R&D unit now allows for selection of Tech Class, regardless of the R&D center manager's skill.

Version 3.0.07B:

1) New CEO policies:
http://www.capitalismlab.com/subsidiary-control.html

In addition to the "Management Policies" page, you may select the "Scope of Production" page and set a list of product classes that you do not want your subsidiary company's CEO to produce.

You may want to do so when you do not want your subsidiary company to compete with you in the same product classes.

Please note that these policies will only keep your subsidiary company from starting production on the affected product classes. However, if your subsidiary company has already engaged in the production of those product classes, these policies will have no effects.

2) Fixed a number of translation issues.
3) Fixed the issue of missing Tech_classes.dbf in MOD_KIT
4) Fixed the GAMETEXT crash bug.

Version 3.0.06:

1) The new option "Subsidiary Supersedes Internal Sale"

The button for this new option is located next to the "Internal Sale" button.

If this is enabled, firms in a parent-subsidiary relationship will always be able to buy products from each other, regardless of the [Internal Sale] setting.

2) Fixed a bug with setting subsidiary company's apartments and commercial buildings on sale.

Version 3.0.05:

New feature:
Radical R&D Unit - a new feature in the Subsidiary DLC (under development).

A Radical R&D (Research and Development) unit is a new type of functional unit that you can set up in a R&D Center.
It undertakes a radical approach in product research and development which aims to achieve dramatically greater results in shorter time frames. The radical approach does come with a price - the success of the research is not guaranteed and you may lose your entire investment in the R&D project without any outcome. So you are advised to use it in combination with traditional R&D units as part of a greater strategy.

For details, please see: http://www.capitalismlab.com/radical-rd.html

Bug fixes:
The bug reported in this forum post has been fixed:
http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... 421#p12421

Version 3.0.04:

New feature:
The Subsidiary DLC will allow you to define pre-requisite technologies for individual products. For example, the following screenshot shows the pre-requisite technologies for Smart Phone.

As you can see in the screenshot, for each pre-requisite technology, there is a required technology level. In order to unlock the product type, all the pre-requisite technologies must reach the required technology levels.

Re: Early Access v3.0.01 patch for registered testers

Post by counting »

The issue of the 2 new game settings, Private Companies, and Product Customization don't get memorized when creating a new customize game, and no auto-save problem still exists in Beta 3.0.01

http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... =37&t=2675

Or perhaps these settings are stored under my game folder? And I have to manually remove some old files in old beta for it to work?

I'm not sure if this is an issue related to the expansion pack or just a general mod issue, but I am receiving the following error message when trying to load my mod file that has previously worked.

Please note that this patch is for only users who have applied and accepted as Early Access testers of this Subsidiary DLC. If you are not in the program and apply this patch to the release version of CapLab, it will cause errors.
