How do you open an RES file

How do you open an RES file

As per the title ;)

Wanted to look into how some mods had done some things but a regular .res reader doesn't seem to work. What is recommended to open up these files? :|

Doesn't really work that way - you need the data files they used (ie before its packed into a .res). Typically most modders will provide that on request.

Nope. You use modkit to extract RES file, which is included in your game directory. Then use open office to edit the files.
