Recently got this after playing a while having updated from windows 10 to 11 recently.
Erorr on File: D:\Cap2src\j_mft.cpp
Line: 948
Game version: 8.1.17

Do not know if is generic bug or related to OS update.
Currently amid long duration, heavily modded campaign, hoping to save it.
All DLC relevant to that version, and real world mod service edition for that version installed.

Save file link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GPXOW6 ... drive_link

Tried compatibility mode for windows 7 and 8, no change.

I am curious. What does j_mft.cpp govern? What does module do?

I would recommend that you upgrade to the latest version 9.1.52 as it is likely that the bug you encountered in the version 8.1 has been fixed.

You can download 9.1.52 from https://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewt ... 319#p39901

(Please note that save games older than v9.1.00 are not compatible with this new version.)

If you encounter the bug again in v9.1.52, please send us the save game and I will ask the programmer to fix it.

Thanks

Very.. hard pill to swallow that I have to totally restart with hundreds upon hundreds of hours invested in a campaign to dominate all the world's markets and build a custom utopia, but it is what it is I suppose. *sigh*

I question if I should start a new run if 10's release is imminent, will that break all saves prior to it?
