Customizing Your Forum Experience: How to Change Your Board Style

Post by David »

To change the board style that is associated with your user account on the PhpBB forum, you can easily do so through the User Control Panel (UCP). Here's how:

1. Log in to your account on the forum.

2. Once logged in, navigate to the User Control Panel. You can usually find a link to this at the top of the forum page.

3. Inside the User Control Panel, look for the Board preferences tab and click on it.

4. Within the Board preferences section, you will see an option for My board style.

5. Use the dropdown menu next to My board style to see a list of available board styles.

You can see the screenshots of the various styles at the PhpBB website at: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styl ... ?sk=d&sd=d

6. Select the style you prefer from the dropdown menu. This will change the way the forum looks to you.

7. After selecting your desired style, be sure to click on Submit at the bottom of the page to save your preferences.

By following these steps, you can customize the appearance of the forum to better suit your tastes, enhancing your browsing experience. Remember, this change will only affect your user account, and other users will see the forum in whatever style they have chosen or the default style if they haven't selected one.
