New image display option in the upcoming version 10.0

If the game screen resolution is wide enough, Capitalism Lab 10.0 will display the firm picture, the corporate logo, and the manager portrait beside the firm detail window. The aim is to provide players with a more visually appealing experience.

If you prefer not to see them, you can disable the option “Show pictures beside the firm detail window and Information Center.” on the Game Options menu.

for info if you change the option, and dont save the game it doesnt save the setting. (but if you do save the game then the option saves for future games)

If you start a new game, the last change you made to the setting is retained, as it is saved to CONFIG.DAT, which contains the default settings.

But if you load a savegame, the setting is loaded from that savegame, as each savegame contains its own settings.

what i found was if i changed the setting then exited the game, the setting was not retained.

if i saved the game i was playing, then restarted the game and made a new game, the setting was retained.

I just tested it: i changed the setting then exited the game. Then started a new game, instead of loading a savegame, the setting was retained.

Did you get a different result with the exact testing route as above?

deleted dat file and tried again on new version and no issues this time
