What is the use of mansions?
You could build them, buy them, or sell them. The primary purpose of those is to make a profit from them thru land appreciation
What can I do with a controlled company?
I think you could use the company's cash to buy/sell stock but you can't do everything you want with the company though unlike your very own company in which you are the CEO

You go to Information Center -> Corporate Detail Report -> Brand then you may change from Unique Brand or Range Brand and finally Corporate Brand
