Capitalism 2 and Capitalism Lab Forum

Every time I start the game, I go to single player, load game, and the game will shutdown and restart. This happens consistently every single time. After the game restarts, the save game loads no problem and no other issues after (I rarely ever seen the game crash in general).

I'm using the latest version 2.5.09, but I've had this as long as I can remember playing Cap Lab.

Playing on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
Intel i7 920
Nvidia GTX 480

Windowed mode at 1280x960

This is an issue I can live with, as it works no problem after the first crash, just wondering if this is a common issue.

Did the game display any error message when it shuts down?

No error message.

It will consistently crash for me somewhere between startup and loading or starting a game. Sometimes before the main menu.

I'm also using dual monitor right now, not sure if it will affect it.

But like I said, starts up, closes, then opens again automatically and runs fine after.
It doesn't even freeze or lock up or anything, just restarts, always before starting an actual game. I've never started/resumed a game and had this happen.
