Technologies for the service sector

We have been working on the service sector and one new component of the system is a list of technologies that can be researched by players and AI companies.

Currently the player can only research a product. In the proposed new system, the player will be able to research technologies that contribute to products / services / software.

Below is a sample list of technologies which we will continue to expand, and we intend to make it moddable by users as well:

IMO, their name isn't that much of an issue, when modding is in play. The fundamental question is how differently does this service sector tech influence services than tech influence manufacturing. And that brings us back to how differently would service industries work as basic mechanics. Do we have contracts where customers constantly get services and always paying fee? Do we allow buildings to link with services like linking media to advertisement (the true service industry existed in game so far)? And information industries are something new and just part of the service industries as well. Would services industries inter-connected with products? like advanced communication tech give rise to higher sales volume to newer communication devices?

There are many fundamentals need to be addressed here. What need to be included as service industries? And what's the basic flow of services and cash flow when we talked about their business models?
