Goals of this expansion

I'll keep it brief.

I think that the overall goal of this expansion pack should be to allow for the development of multiple companies, with specific product class focus, using the available stock exchange feature.

I wish to be able to

1. Take a subsidiary company that is manufacturing all kinds of crap (a conglomerate) and transfer or sell specific firms and assets (including stock) to other subsidiaries, or a newly created company.

I should in effect be able to control (in my specific style of play) an investment firm, a furniture company, a resource company... Or also be able to create company divisions, so that the resource division is seperate from retail and manufacturing. I'm sure you understand.

Completely agree. The "company division" model via subsidiaries is exactly what I'm looking for as well.
