Open Beta version with DLC v3.0.23C patch

Subsidiary DLC Open Beta Patch version 3.0.23C is now available for download from:
http://www.capitalismlab.com/capserver/ ... E3023C.zip

This patch must be applied on top of Version 3.0.19 or later. If your version is not 3.0.19, please download the full version 3.0.19 installer from http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... =37&t=2763

Then extract the ZIP file to your Early Access version of Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.

(The saved game files from versions older than 3.0.23 are not compatible.)

Version 3.0.23C:
It fixed various bugs reported on this forum.


Version 3.0.23B:
Fixed the crash bug when adding marketing officer office in headquarters.
AI improvement on advertising.

Version 3.0.23:
Fixed the bug with management policies interfaces.
Slight AI improvement.
Improvement to the function of the transfer R&D between owned companies - the R&D projects will be retained if the buying company has the required base tech.

Version 3.0.22B:
Fixed the bug with management policies interfaces.

Version 3.0.22:
Added the function allowing you to select specific product classes to disable.
It fixed various bugs reported on this forum.

Version 3.0.21:
Added news popup about custom product launches.
It fixed various bugs reported on this forum.


Version 3.0.20:

New warehouse building images.

Version 3.0.18D:

Add Seaport Product=<product type> is supported in MOD txt file.

Details:

The MOD text file should be formatted like this:

[MOD]

Title=<The MOD title>

Description=<the description text>

Author=<The author of this MOD>

Add Seaport Product=<Product Type>
(You may assign multiple products using the same syntax, like the below example. )

Example:

[MOD]

Title=My Capitalism Lab MOD

Description=This is my first MOD for Capitalism Lab

Author=Capitalism Person

Add Seaport Product=Steel
Add Seaport Product=Plastic


Version 3.0.18C:

It fixed a bug with the new technology feature.


Version 3.0.18B:

It fixed the retail AI bug.


Version 3.0.18:

New Feature
New sliders in the corporate details>products screen to adjust pricing policies for individual products. This is in addition to the general pricing policy setting on the COO screen.

Version 3.0.17:

New features:
Custom product images will be displayed on the Product Details report.

You may now enter a custom name for each custom product image and it will be displayed on the product detail area on the firm detail screen, as well as the Product Details report.

Improvement:
Improved the performance of the Firms report when there is a large number of firms in the game.

When you hover the mouse over the “?” buttons, it will display the help message regardless of the Help setting on the option menu.


New Feature:
A new set of goals called the “King of Capitalism” goals will be automatically assigned to a custom game if you haven’t assigned any goals manually on the new game setting menu.

It is a set of highly challenging goals. So if the player finds it too difficult, the player may simply disregard it and play the game as a normal open-end game, and it won’t affect the gameplay or penalize the score in any way.


Bug fixes
Fixed various bugs which were reported on the forum.


Gameplay balance tuning
Decreased the salaries of executive officers by half.

We will investigate the problem.

Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) Which version of Capitalism Lab you are using. You can see the version number on the top-right of the main menu.
2) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game
3) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

You can find save game files of Capitalism Lab from the C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab\SAVE

If you are using the Post-release Beta version of Capitalism Lab, the folder would be:
C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta\SAVE

You may provide us with your save game file by posting it here on the forum as a ZIP file attachment or email the save game file to us at info@enlight.com.

1) It's version 3.0.17
2) The "j_pur.cpp" and "j_mft.cpp" error occurs when expanding internalspace of factory and retail buildings from 200 to 5000 and purchase "Wheat" in retail store and factory(you could have a try). The "input_field:0" and "Groupa.cpp" occurs when setting up 3 subsidiary companies(you can have a try).
3) The mod only expand the internalspace of factory and retail buildings from 200 to 5000.

The mod only expand the internalspace of factory and retail buildings from 200 to 5000.

The following values are recommended for retail stores:
50 - a retail store of 2x2 size
100 - a retail store of 3x3 size
200 - a retail store of 4x4 size

The maximum allowed value is 999 only.

I see, but what about the errors of subsidiary company establishing? And what about the higher standard price?

The bugs with creating a subsidiary will be fixed in the next patch.

The standard price's limitation is well documented on the CapLab MOD web page.

Error below with 3.17 and Real World 9.21 beta

Occurred several times while accepting offers from AI to buy back stock and just while game was running.
