I was wondering if the cheat code (Shift + 678) was still working with the latest version. (v.4.3.13)

I use an AZERTY keyboard (French). the Shift+6789 (from Capitalism II) worked on that keyboard for that game but not now for this game.

Type Shift+7,8,9 (it is "&*(") during the game to enable the cheat mode.

If you have typed it correctly, a message will appear stating that the cheat mode is enabled.

Then press ALT-C to add $10 million cash to your company.


For French keyboards, you could find the corresponding keys for typing &*(.

The AZERTY Keyboard layout is different.

Here are the correspondances of the characters

6 : §
7 : è
8 : !
9 : ç

& : shift 1
( : shift 5
* : shift $

The code is not location sensitive.

Could you try typing the &*( characters on the new game setup menu's Your Name field or any field in the game and see if the characters you have typed appear correctly as &*( ?

I can type & and ( without using SHIFT (AZERTY keyboard configuration) but in order to type *, I have to press SHIFT+$.
The other * without using the shift is on the num pad.

I'll try again by changing the keyboard configuration to English US in Windows.
