Semi-products, and raw products are the ugly ducklings in Capitalism Lab.
I mean, they do not enjoy specific research bonus, even when they are core to a product, e.g. Car Body far Cars and Automobile. An executive with a huge Automobile bonus would not enjoy any advantge manufacturing or researching about Engines, Wheel and Tires and so on, even if these semi products are core.
There is also the case of more generic products, such as Electronic components.
One way to help this problems would be to make semi-products manufacture and research come into play in a similar way as finished products towards the various product classes.
Plus, in Survival mode, it feels strange to be able to manufacture some advanced semi products such as electronic components, CPU or DVD, when we struggle to get a pair of socks out .
