Feature request - obsolete product

Hallo,
the info to an obsolete product would be helpful on more places ... not just hidden in the Products.
... also in the factory and the retailstore and in the select supplier window.
i had also the feeling, that the demand for the obsolete products drop instantly after the new product is invented.
it should be higher as long the new product is
- not available
- not available in masses to replace the need of communication devices
- has a high price
Camera Phone has a retail price around 350,--
Smartphone has a retail price around 1300,--
the Camera Phone should be phased out more softly as long there is no cheaper Smart Phone available (like with the Product Customization).
