Capitalism 2 and Capitalism Lab Forum

I have tried everything, and can’t get my subsidiaries to buy stocks on their own.
I have tried giving them a lot of money, removing the checkmark in “invest into other companies and merge with them”, also leaving the checkmark in “invest into other companies and merge with them”. Keeping the PC on all night to see if it was a time thing, but nothing.
How can I make them do this?

Any info or help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
