Capitalism Lab Support FAQ

Q: How will the game be delivered to be me after ordering it?

A: The game will be delivered to you via digital download. After ordering Capitalism Lab, you will be provided with a download link to download the game installer. Normally, the entire download process will only take a few minutes with a high speed Internet connection.

Q: Do I have to install Capitalism 2 in the first place, in order to run Capitalism Lab?

A: You can run Capitalism Lab without the presence of Capitalism 2 in your computer, as Capitalism Lab can run independently. 

Q: Is Capitalism Lab available in other language versions, besides the English version?

A: Capitalism Lab allows users to localize the game text on their own. Thanks to the efforts of the contributors, the user-made translations for Capitalism Lab are now available in the following languages:

  • German
  • French
  • Russian
  • Korean
  • Chinese
  • Japanese
  • Brazilian Portuguese

Q: I forgot my login user id. for my Capitalism Lab account. How can I retrieve it?

A: You can enter your email and your password on the following page and it will show your user id.

Q: If forgot both my login user id. and password for my Capitalism Lab account. Any solution?

A: If you also forgot your password, you may type in your email address only on this page:

Q: On the Single Player Game menu, there is no response clicking on the Custom Game option. 

A: Please check if you have any anti virus software running in background. If so, there is a possibility that the firewall of your anti virus software may block the game’s communication with the game server. You may check your anti virus software’s user manual about how to add Capitalism Lab to one of its approved app to prevent it from being blocked by the firewall.

Q: I ran Capitalism Lab and saw a black screen.
 
A: In your My Documents folder, you can find “My Games” folder and “Capitalism Lab” subfolder, please delete the file CONFIG.DAT, and see if it will resolve the problem.

Q: I ran Capitalism Lab in windowed mode and got a blank window and an error message.

A: You may try the fullscreen mode and see if it can resolve the problem.

On the Capitalism Lab launcher window, select the option [  ] Force running in 1024 x 768 full screen mode and start the game.

Q: I have lost my Capitalism Lab Installer file. Where can I download it again?

A: You may click here to download the Capitalism Lab Installer again.

Q: Is Capitalism Lab available in other language versions?

A: Capitalism Lab is in English language only. In fact, the English text used in Capitalism Lab is quite easy to understand.

Q: Does Capitalism Lab run on a Mac computer?

A: Although Capitalism Lab does not run natively on a Mac, you may use a software product called “Parallel Desktop” to run the game on a Mac.
