Interface Improvements
Most of the changes below exist to remove repetitive work. Capitalism Lab asks you to set up a great many firms over a long game, and the difference between an enjoyable session and a tedious one is usually how many clicks each firm costs you.
Three of them do most of that work: the auto-setup screens configure a new factory or farm in one step, firm duplication copies a setup you have already tuned, and the sorting functions let you find the one firm that is losing money without reading down a list.
Setting up firms faster
- ⚡Auto Setup Factory ProductionLay out a factory's production in one step instead of unit by unit.
- 🌱Auto Setup Farm ProductionPick a crop or livestock product and the game fills the 3×3 layout.
- 📑Firm DuplicationCopy an existing firm rather than rebuilding a setup you already tuned.
- 🚚Firm Relocation and DescriptionMove factories off appreciated land, and label your firms.
- 👔Assign Firm Manager InterfaceChoose which firms your COO runs and which you keep control of.
