New Apartments and Commercial Buildings
The Service Industry DLC adds six new structures to your city-building toolkit — three apartments and three commercial buildings — in two base sizes, 2×2 and 3×3.

Mixed-use buildings
Enable the Apartment and Commercial Buildings Have Retail Space option and the new 3×3 buildings can house large retail establishments — department stores among them.
Putting retail directly inside residential and commercial buildings lets you build genuine mixed-use districts — more economic activity in a smaller footprint, and more convenience for the people living there.
