How to Change the Products a Retail Store Sells

Say a department store is selling Leather Bags and you want a different product in that slot.

Replacing the product

Select the Purchasing unit

Link a new product

Click [Link] to open the source product window, and choose the product that will replace the Leather Bags.

The Purchasing unit starts buying the new product, which then moves through to the Sales unit and reaches customers.

Why the change is not instant

The Sales unit will not take the new product until the existing leather bag stock has sold through the shelves. That takes time.

Two ways to speed it up:

• Increase the game’s running speed, so the old stock sells faster.
• Select the Sales unit and click [Clear Stock] to discard the remaining stock at once.
